About the Founder
Founder of the Newday Magazine, Sule Musa, started journalism on the pages of The Triumph Newspapers in Kano, Nigeria, in 1992. He later joined the Nigeria Agriculture Today Magazine the same year as a staff writer.
He travelled to Sierra Leone in 1994 and practised with several newspapers, including serving as acting editor of the defunct Afro Times newspaper in 1995. Between 1996 and 1998, he practised in The Gambia and was assistant editor of the Daily Observer newspaper before returning to Sierra Leone in 1998 as bureau chief of the US based African Observer Magazine and later became deputy/acting editor of the Standard Times newspaper in 1999.
He started and edited the defunct Daily Adviser newspaper in 2000 before founding the bimonthly Newday Magazine.
