Music legend Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba is trending once again, again, not for musical exploits, but for his explosive love affairs.

2Baba severed relationship with his long running partner Annie Macaulay-Idibia and hadn’t time, it seemed, to even go through divorce with her before jumping into a succeeding hot romance and marriage with Edo State House of Assembly legislator Natasha Osawaru.

With family and fans reluctant to endorse the new relationship, the multiple award-winning icon went ahead in a glaring blindness and it wasn’t long before cracks started showing in the wedlock.

All the pretensions must have done well until recently in early August when Natasha reportedly hired up to 20 hefty men to help her force the musician from the stage of an Abuja nightclub musical show back to her bed. Police had to intervene to quell what was apparently a planned kidnap – with love as ransom.

The 50-year-old handsome Idibia – looking half of his age – has largely lived a life of a philanderer; scooping babies from each relationship. There are no fewer than four of such records including Annie.

Three of the most prominent Baby Mamas – as celebrity spouses are referred to in Nigeria – come from wealthy backgrounds. The choice of Annie in the celebrity wedding held in Dubai years back was, according to 2Baba, because both of them had been together in the trenches through thick and thin.  

To buttress, Annie featured in the music video of African Queen single that launched Innocent Idibia onto the global stage and phenomenal fame.

It was presumed a marriage made in heaven until Natasha Osawaru happened few years ago. Reports have it that 2Baba has unfollowed her on social media and refollowed Annie while publicly admitting the wedlock has hit the rocks.  

His next move is easily predictable as Annie will see herself regaining what was always hers.

Trump Ankara Catering Escape

The loquacious warmonger would have cut the most hilarious sight had he worn a chef uniform while escaping through the catering truck at Ankara Airport. Even at the rate it was implemented, many still say Ankara had seen many diplomatic dramas, but none quite like the Great Catering Escape during the Ankara July NATO summit.

Donald Trump had earlier arrived in Turkey for the NATO meeting in the usual manner – surrounded by security, cameras, officials, flags, and enough television coverage to make a man feel personally responsible for the invention of television. But when it was time to leave, things became considerably less presidential.

According to reports, following intelligence of Iranian assassination plans, Trump was secretly transferred from the Airforce One presidential plane to a smaller military jet—using an airport catering truck as the getaway vehicle.

With this scene on the tarmac in Ankara, the most powerful man in the free world apparently became the most famous item on the airport lunch menu.

Meanwhile, on the decoy aircraft, reporters sat quietly, windows closed, wondering why the world’s most talkative president had suddenly developed an unprecedented interest in silence. Trump, they thought, was presumably enjoying the ultimate luxury of presidential travel with nobody allowed to interact with him.

Trump left Ankara not as the leader of the free world, but as Ankara’s most heavily guarded takeaway order. The flight landed safely in London and the journalists eventually discovered the truth.
